Welcome welcome to my little corner office on the internet! For those of you who don't know me, I'm Suechan! Duh! I used to live in the not-so-famous town of North Reading, Massachusetts - (Class of '94 - marching band geek. Go Hornets!), but some of you may also know me from Marist College (class of '98! - AV and band Geek. Go Red Foxes!) in Poughkeepsie, New York. Maybe you met me online, at a convention or in Jury Duty (I have served on 2 juries in 2 states), or from MySpace or Facebook or maybe you saw my gallery in Deviant Art or the one on Elfwood. Then again, some of you may not know me at all....yet! Even if you don't know me at all, feel free to look through my drawings, my photos, and my other links! We may even have something in common!

Ok, I'm officially finished with $2.00 August (there are about 7 sketches left to finish, but I'm not taking on any new ones). | 
DRAGONCON!!!!! Yours Truly donated 48 cans of Romulan Ale to the Con Suite this year! And I've got my 5 1/2 costumes all ready to go (Scarlett, Jinx, Jessica Rabbit, Mildred Hubble and Phoenix) and the packing list is just ready for being checked off! I can not think of ANYTHING ELSE! OMFGDRAGONCON! *fangirlsqueal* We will be going to NY Comic Con this October 8-10 (which is also NY Anime Con) and we'll be getting a group of costumed GI Joe people together! So, if you're in the area, going to the con, or WANT to, you're encouraged to put on a pair of camoflage pants or a GI Joe/Cobra costume if you have one and hang out! (you can always hang out with us even if you're not dressed up - just dont' be upset or annoyed if photo shoots break out) Look for Hawk, Snake Eyes, Scarlett and Stalker (and hopefully more)! I'm pretty sure we'll have a whole Cobra entourage there (Cobra Commander, Zartan, Baroness, various troopers, etc.)

Use the Internet to get off the internet! Novel idea!
If you woke up this morning with more health than illness, you are more blessed than the million who will not survive this week.
If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof over your head and a place to sleep, you are richer that 75% of this world.
If you have money in the bank, in your wallet and spare change in a dish someplace,you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthiest people.
If you can hold someone's hand, hug them, or even just put an arm around their shoulder,you are blessed because you can offer a healing touch.
See? There are far far worse things than having to cut back on buying videogames & candy, taking long road trips, or going to the movies. We're in financially tough times, but so long as we support eachother (and not try to take advantage of anyone) we'll make it through.
Nobody can do everything, but everybody can do something. For example, if every New Yorker (and there are over 8 million of them) gave $1.00 to 5 charities, all 5 charities would receive over $8,000,000! And each person would only be out $5.00 which can't get you much more than a Happy Meal or a medium gourmet coffee. And that doesn't even include the rest of the state of NY or any other part of the country giving anything (BTW, there are over 305 MILLION people in this country). If we all give a little, it adds up to a lot.
Boycott Walmart! Buy Local!
