Welcome welcome to my little corner office on the internet! For those of you who don't know me, I'm Suechan! Duh! I used to live in the not-so-famous town of North Reading, Massachusetts - (Class of '94 - marching band geek. Go Hornets!), but some of you may also know me from Marist College (class of '98! - AV and band Geek. Go Red Foxes!) in Poughkeepsie, New York. Maybe you met me online, at a convention, or in Jury Duty (I have served on 2 juries in 2 states). Then again, some of you may not know me at all....yet! Even if you don't know me at all, feel free to look through my drawings, my photos, and my other links! We may even have something in common!

Some Thankful Thoughts

If you woke up this morning with more health than illness, you are more blessed than the million who will not survive this week.
Give thanks for all that you have and express gratitude for all the things you take for granted.
If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof over your head and a place to sleep,you are richer that 75% of this world.
If you have money in the bank, in your wallet and spare change in a dish someplace,you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthiest people.
If you can hold someone's hand, hug them, or even just put an arm around their shoulder,you are blessed because you can offer a healing touch.
Nobody can do everything, but everyone can do something. Holding the door for someone, saying thank you, or even a smile at someone you pass on the street or in a store can brighten someone's day.
If you can read this, thank a teacher.

Get stuff locally for free that others want to get rid of
rather than have it contribute to a landfill
AND you can get rid of your stuff locally for free !

Nobody can do everything, but everybody can do something. For example, if every New Yorker (and there are over 8 million of them) gave $1.00 to 5 charities, all 5 charities would receive over $8,000,000! And each person would only be out $5.00 which can't get you much more than a Happy Meal or a medium gourmet coffee. And that doesn't even include the rest of the state of NY or any other part of the country giving anything (BTW, there are over 305 MILLION people in this country). If we all give a little, it adds up to a lot.
